Energy Bites
Say it with me: whole 👏 foods 👏 are 👏 better👏
These are two energy-bite recipes you need to have on hand… all the time.
Serving: Makes 12
Choco-Nut Energy Bites
In a food processor pulse:
1/4 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup raw or roasted hazelnuts
2 TBSP dark chocolate chunks (or chocolate or choice!)
until broken down into smaller pieces.
Add:
1 cup (90g) rolled oats
1-2 TBSP ground flax seeds (optional)
4 TBSP pure maple syrup
4 TBSP creamy raw almond butter
and pulse until the mixture comes together into a ball.
Roll into 12 balls and enjoy for up to 1 week stored in an airtight container (if they last).
Cran-Coconut Energy Bites:
In a food processor combine:
1 cup (90g) rolled oats
2 TBSP (30g) unsweetened coconut flakes
1/4 cup unsweetened dried cranberries
3 TBSP pure maple syrup
2 TBSP Tahini
and pulse until the mixture comes together into a ball.
Roll into 12 balls (slightly wet your hands to help with this one) and enjoy for up to 1 week stored in an airtight container (again, if they last).
